We at Mitti provide various pottery classes and workshops that are taught by the founder, Kosha Shah.
Kosha has been practicing pottery since 2020 and specialises in Hand-building and the potters wheel.

Classes and Workshops
Beginners Classes
This program is for complete beginners. They will learn 4 techniques of pottery namely coiling, slab, nerikomi and wheel throwing. The objective is to familiarize students with these basic techniques which they can take it forward by themselves or in our advanced course.
Objectives

No prior experience required. (over age of 18)

Weekday and weekend batches available
Intermediate
Mitti intermediate course is designed for students with previous knowledge of basic pottery skills. You can refine your skill further by taking one or two techniques ahead.

Advance level 1
Mitti advanced level 1 is designed for students with previous knowledge of intermediate pottery skills. You can refine your skill further by taking one technique ahead.

Advance level 2
Mitti advanced level 2 is designed for students with previous knowledge of advance pottery skills. You can refine your skill further by taking one technique ahead.

Beginners wheel
Mitti beginners potters wheel course is designed for students who want to learn only the potters wheel and learn to throw pieces on it.

The course is made up of 10 sessions
Each session is for 2 hours. That includes tools, clay and firing of 6 pieces.
You just need to carry an apron for yourself.
Extra pieces will be charged 400/-
Fees are non - refundable.
Please note, you can miss up to 3 sessions.
After that every session will be charged at 1000/- rs
Weekday and weekend slots.
Long Term
This 3-4 month program is for potters who want to start their own studio/ ceramic line. You get to start with with the basic techniques like coiling, pinching, slab and wheel in the first month. The other two months you hone a technique that you would like to specialise in.

Learning to make a mosaic, wall mural

Learn how to make mugs, teapot, jars, plates, bowls and attaching handles.

The course is made up of 64 sessions. 4 times a week compulsory classes.

Each session is for 2-3 hours
That includes tools, clay and firing of 20 pieces. Extra pieces will be charged 400/-
Fees are non - refundable.
Please note, you can miss up to 10 sessions.
After that every session will be charged at 1000/- rs
Weekday and weekend slots.
One time experience
This is one time session (scheduled workshop) of 1.5- 2 hours where we teach you one of the hand-building techniques, namely pinching, coiling or slab. You get to create one object (max 5in x 5in) based on these techniques. The piece is then fired and will be handed to you in 30 days.

Date with Mitti
Come have a date with us :)
Come in with your date to experience the joys of pottery instead of going to a boring cafe or movies.
We do up the place with flowers, candles and fairy lights.
In this 1.5-2 hours session, you and your date get to create an object with hand-building technique.
Make it even more special with a cheese platter and wine (charges separately).
